"We must be challenged once in a while in order to grow and increase in mental strength as well as physical well being. " - Very well said. It really strikes home to some of the personal issues that I have occuring in my life these days. Even with severe obstacles I found time to do shoulders and traps today.

Thanks! I really do think that you gotta be absolute God if you can stay off any cheat meals for 12-16 weeks in a row. More so, if you are a regular working guy and not a body building pro. I think as long as you dont go overboard with the cheat, it actually helps you stay on track. I really try to eat well during the week and look forward to that 1-2 weekend meals where i can slack off. I dont have to tell my self that i gotta wait for 3 months. Cheat meals do work for me!

Excellent article. I thought I was the only one to get a couple of pages into an "article" only to realize that it's a 10-page add. I confess to being taken in by some of those "In only 6 weeks..." headlines.

Yeah, can't agree more. A lot of people blame supplements for their lack of results when it is just their poor diet/lack of exercise that is to blame.

If you need a little bit of help on choosing the right supplements I have reviewed quite a few supplements on www.fitness-nutrition-plan.com

I wholeheartly agree with the not enough resting. I myself also see so many people at the gym focus on working out and forget that the most crucial part is the resting.

I have like you, deticated my time and knowledge to let people know about fitness. I invite you to check it out when you get a chance.

It sounds like you were like me growing up, bodywise--skinny with a fast metabolism. Now that I'm old I'm still skinny with a fast metabolism, unlike you. I do have some muscle and some definition, and I'm short. That makes me look bigger than I am. People guess I have 15" biceps, when they're more like 13 1/2, for example. I get frustrated at eating all the time, working out hard and not gaining weight. Maybe it's a function of when one starts working out.

Very inspirational, and dead on. I find myself to be very vain these days and I select the shirts that fit me the best. I guess I'm guilty of "fluanting it" a bit too often currently. I find myself trying to keep this in checque, but at the same time it's self-motivational.
